Destroyer is the idiosyncratic project of Dan Bejar, an indie star from Vancouver who has been building a unique oeuvre since the 1990s. As a former member of The New Pornographers, he developed a distinct signature with Destroyer, freely adapting genres such as glam, yacht rock, and indie to his own style. His album 'Kaputt' is regarded as a modern classic and marks the moment his artistic vision reached a wider audience.
