Worldwide dance for peace with psychedelic trance
For 29 years, Earthdance International has been connecting people worldwide through music, dance, and other gatherings with the aim of promoting peace, connection, and awareness. The theme for 2026, “The Heart & Beat of Humanity”, celebrates our shared human rhythm and reminds us that peace begins with the individual but grows through connection and becomes more powerful when we all move together. Join in and experience the power of global connectedness.
This might sound a bit New Agey, but it’s not: Earthdance Utrecht is being organized this year by Psychedelic Grateful Punks, a small underground collective that has been part of the underground psychedelic scene since the mid-2000s. Before the squatting ban, they partied in small buildings every weekend, or dragged a generator into the bushes and stomped the night away. Respect, a sense of community, and a DIY mentality created a fine and self-reliant community back then, from which they learned a great deal. Now, many years later, Psychedelic Grateful Punks (PGP) has emerged. Lovingly supported by 'the old generation' and with an ever-growing new community, they are rekindling the spirit in a new form with some nods to the past. Earthdance used to be hosted more frequently in the Netherlands, by Trance Orient Express (Ruigoord), Namaste (Danzigerbocht), and the Trance Buddha Bar, among others, but has not been organized on a large scale since 2012. So, time for an Earthdance Utrecht!

PGP has chosen Stichting LHBT Asylum Support, to which half of the profits will be donated.
Arrive on time, because 01:00 is the official time (in our time zone) when all Earthdance parties take place simultaneously worldwide and thousands of people join the Global Synchronized Prayer for Peace.
