FORAGER is a trio from Brooklyn that enriches contemporary indie rock with refined guitar work, melismatic vocals, and quirky, playful grooves. The group, consisting of Shyamala Ramakrishna (vocalist), Jack Broza (guitar), and Colum Enrique (drums), blends elements of rock, jazz, and folk into what they themselves call 'kaleidoscopic pop'.
Following their debut album 'Pipedream Firewood' (2023), their fanbase grew rapidly. The trio stood out for their energetic live shows, sold-out venues in the US, and opening slots for artists including Raveena, Salami Rose Joe Louis, and Red Baraat. NPR's Tiny Desk Contest also repeatedly selected them as favorites: all their entries were featured in Top Shelf, followed by their own official Tiny Desk Session earlier this year. On their second album, 'Even a Child Can Cover the Sun with a Finger' (2026), they explore raw, layered sounds, from whispered vocals to wailing sirens and derailing psych-pop choruses, which are best appreciated live.
