Gruppo Sportivo – Stop Motion: 50th Anniversary Tour
On Sunday, November 1st, Gruppo Sportivo will be celebrating their 50th anniversary and their very last tour at Patronaat. Originally from The Hague, the band will be saying goodbye at their peak, as frontman Hans Vandenburg himself puts it: one more round to remember. Expect an evening full of energy, humor, and classics that have shaped Dutch pop music.
Featuring regulars Max Mollinger and Tim Barning, the Bombitas (Lies Schilp & Inge Bonthond) and keyboardist Len de Quant, the band delivers a set packed with favourites such as 'Hey Girl', 'Beep Beep Love', 'Disco Really Made It', 'Tokyo' and 'Rock 'n Roll', plus a few quirky surprises from their rich oeuvre.
