In 2026, SNACKBAR returns to the stage from the Amsterdam depths with fresh blood and new music. Expect a fatal dose of feminist hard rock with screeching organs, cutting guitars, and compelling punk rhythms. Their first EP was released in 2024, and a second is on the way.
Leading the charge is power woman FVH, still fiery with a message. The goal: to claim more space for women and other marginalized groups. The means: loud, direct, Dutch-language noise. Other sources of inspiration include the absurd everyday, the fluorescent-lit neighborhood snack bar, the traditional pub, and above all, growing up as a woman. The result is a chaotic explosion of feminist punk and 70s hard rock.
