TRIO MIXES POST-METAL, SHOEGAZE, AND BLACKGAZE INTO A CRUSHING WALL OF SOUND
Holy Fawn blends post-metal, shoegaze, and blackgaze into music they themselves describe as “loud, heavy, pretty, noises.” With a crushing wall of sound, somber textures, and dreamlike nature imagery, the trio from Arizona manages to create something overwhelming and hypnotic. On stage, they have already proven their strength alongside names like Thrice, Deafheaven, and Rolo Tomassi. This fall, the band presents their heavy sound on the EKKO stage.
Support: Outlander.
Outlander is a British band that has been plaguing stages in the UK and beyond for nearly a decade with their somber and biting sound. With dreamy tones and intensity, they move through the vast grey area between slowcore and shoegaze.
