IJSLAND, the supergroup consisting of rapper Sef, Abel (of Hang Youth), and producer Faisal, burst onto the music scene in 2024 with the album IJSLAND. While that album was more hip-hop-oriented, the recently released follow-up IJSLAND 2 (2026) is an in-your-face explosion of industrial electro-dance, trap, and hyperpop with angry lyrics against everything from fascism to capitalism. After a few tracks, it's clear: the system needs to be broken down, and IJSLAND 2 is the crowbar – "the most radical Dutch album of 2026," according to 3FM (already). Abolish all cows!
