The Japanese-American singer/multi-instrumentalist Kishi Bashi, known for his mix of baroque pop and sensitive vocals, holds a unique place in the indie landscape. Kishi Bashi (stage name of Kaoru Ishibashi) started in 2010 as a violinist with the band Of Montreal but soon went solo and has since released five albums. Tonight, Kishi Bashi celebrates the tenth anniversary of his album Sonderlust (2016), where he swapped the violin for synthesizers, resulting in a warm and surprisingly poppy sound. Expect favorites like Honeybody, Hey Big Star, and of course Can't Let Go, Juno!
