Mansur Brown is the epitome of a prodigy: a classically trained guitarist, curator, and multidisciplinary musician whose music balances virtuoso precision with nimble emotional expressions. Mansur was born in Brixton and still resides in South London. His signature style of composition is characterized by a mix of his complex, flamenco-influenced guitar playing and his original production work, inspired by the rhythmic snap of Timbaland from the early 2000s, the swing of Afrobeats, and Burial's melancholic sound design. 'Sometimes my music has a club feel, other times it's more introspective,' he says himself. 'But what always runs through it are feelings of happiness and gratitude. I want it to feel rejuvenating.'
