Ozric Tentacles are among the absolute heroes of the English underground. For well over 40 years, they have been mixing spacey, instrumental prog with electronics, dub, and ambient. A powerful brew that will make you act a little crazy.
The Ozrics' reputation as kings of cosmic rock was once built on a foundation of cassette tapes and hallucinatory live shows. In the early nineties, the Ozrics rose through the British festival scene. They bridged the gap between the space rock of the '70s and '80s and the dance music that became popular in the early '90s. Throw in a healthy double dose of trippy visuals, and you have a sure-fire festival favorite.
And they have always remained so. So by now, we are more than four decades, seventeen albums, and a handful of band members further along – but Ozric Tentacles is still a household name.
