For twenty years, SBP4 has refused to play by the rules. The idiosyncratic band from Saint Petersburg has grown into one of the most striking names of the post-Soviet indie scene and cheerfully mixes electropop, electronica, hip-hop, funk, disco, and psychedelia. Expect strange rhythms, glitches, pumping bass lines, and above all, a whole lot of groove.
Twenty years of SBP4 are being celebrated with the brand-new album Abracadabra: by their own account, their most danceable work to date. And naturally, that comes into its own even better live. New tracks, crowd favorites, and an hour and a half of colorful chaos where standing still is simply not an option.
