Soft Loft is a Swiss collective centered on singer and lyricist Jorina Stamm that creates music balancing vulnerability and euphoria. Their sound—playfully described by themselves as “Indie-something-something”—blends melancholy with ecstatic indie pop, creating an intimate yet grand-feeling listening experience. The band feels equally at home in small, sweaty clubs as on large festival stages, and is known for its ability to translate emotions raw and direct into compelling songs that literally “break open” the listener and embrace humanity.
Since their debut EP In Case You Get Lonely and the album The Party And The Mess , produced by Grammy nominee Gianluca Buccellati, Soft Loft has rapidly grown into a much-discussed name within the European indie scene. Without major promotion, they received airplay on KEXP and BBC 6 Music, among others, and played at festivals such as The Great Escape, Reeperbahn Festival, and Montreux Jazz Festival. With the self-produced EP Modern Roses (2025), they refined their sound into something more direct and emotional, after which the band begins their new chapter in 2026 with the album Throw The Dice (PIAS Recordings). The single “Caught” already demonstrates how Soft Loft transforms tension and reflection into an energetic, modern indie anthem about taking risks, growing up, and seeking a balance between safety and a leap into the unknown.
