Extince, also known as De Exter-O-Naldus, Prince Extince, or simply Peter Kops, is regarded as the Father of Dutch hip-hop. With his Brabant puns, soft 'g', and funk-inspired sound, he scored the very first Dutch-language hip-hop hit in 1995 with 'Spraakwater' and definitively put the genre on the map.
From 'Viervoeters' and 'Grootheidswaan' to 'Regelneef' and '20 Jr.': Extince grew into an icon within Dutch hip-hop and became the first Dutch-language rapper to receive the Edison Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.
