Mexican pianist/composer Gibran Alcocer extends the minimalist element of his neoclassical compositions to the titles: his songs are simply called Idea 10, Idea 15, Idea 22, and so on. Alcocer began gathering fans in 2021 with piano covers on TikTok, but soon switched to his own work: melancholic, cinematic, and repetitive pieces that have since racked up hundreds of millions of Spotify streams. He achieved unexpected fame in 2023, when hardstyle DJ Atmozfears incorporated Alcocer's track Idea 1 into his song The Soul, the closing number of his set at the Defqon.1 festival.
