The Belgian band Hooverphonic celebrates their thirtieth anniversary with the return of singer Noémie Wolfs. Hooverphonic broke through in 1996 with their debut album A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular, a cinematic collection of captivating pop-noir. Since then, the sound of the formation has evolved significantly, with influences from psychedelic music, pop, and orchestral elements. Of the many singers Hooverphonic has employed, Wolfs is one of the most beloved: her unforgettable rendition of Mad About You in Antwerp (2012) has nearly a quarter billion YouTube views!
