The Los Angeles-based keyboardist grew up as a classical prodigy in Berkeley, studied with Brad Mehldau and Kenny Werner, and then toured the world with Marcus Miller, Terence Blanchard, and Snarky Puppy founder Michael League. He recorded the foundation of his most recent album, Soul & Circuitry, in a single day. He then spent a year refining it and adding electronic keyboard sounds. The result: music that is as playful as it is profound. Pollack also designs sounds for synthesizer manufacturers like Nord and Sequential.
