Insiders were there when Patrick Tillon aka 𝗥𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗬 and Arjen de Vreede aka 𝗗𝗝 𝗗𝗡𝗔 breathed new life into the repertoire of the legendary Urban Dance Squad for the first time with a rock-solid band on a Sunday evening at dB's in February 2022, under the motto DJ DNA liveset.
What followed was a triumphant tour of large venues and festivals under the banner Rudeboy plays Urban Dance Squad feat. DJ DNA, a new chapter in an old story that proved to be still relevant in terms of urgency for an older but certainly also a young audience.
Now, on this Friday evening in October 2026, the gentlemen turn the page once again and present their new project 𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗛. Another new chapter, and this time not just any new chapter, but a completely different story, with new music!
The ingredients might sound familiar. The result does not. Grooves that bounce and bite. Guitars with a short fuse. Beats that refuse to stick to the schedule. And a voice that would still rather light the fuse than explain the instruction manual. No nostalgic look back. No museum piece. No attempt to reproduce a moment that has already taken place. New tracks predominate, but fortunately, some Urban Dance Squad classics still refuse to retire with dignity. They are still part of the set, simply because they still hit exactly where they need to hit.
Sons Of The Culture Clash picks up the spirit of fearless cross-pollination and hurls it back into the wilderness, where rock, hip-hop, funk, electronica, and anything else in the way are allowed to collide without permission.
