The large ensemble Luar Na Lubre is a traditional folk band from Galicia, the Spanish region where Celtic influences still resonate. The band combines Galician folk music with modern arrangements. In 1996, Luar Na Lubre gained worldwide fame when Mike Oldfield covered their song *O Son Do Ar* under the title *The Song Of The Sun* on his album *Voyager* – three years later, the band supported Oldfield on his European tour. After forty years, Luar Na Lubre is still led by founder, bagpiper, and driving force Bieito Romero!
