On Sunday, March 14, 2027, we present the Utrecht Blues Festival for the fifth time, a small festival featuring steaming big-city blues, soul, rock 'n' roll, and everything in between.
The first names have been announced! In the Main Hall, The Brooklyn Holdouts will perform , a collaboration between New Yorkers Moses Patrou and Chris Bergson . Together with drummer Diego Voglino , they play a smooth and organic repertoire in which R&B, soul, and blues come together. With guitar and banjo, Guy Davis delivers narrative blues where music and storytelling intertwine, rooted in the work of Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker, among others. The Luca Giordano Band showcases a more electric side of the blues. The Italian guitarist, known as an accompanist for American artists in Europe, takes center stage here with fluid playing and layered solos. With guitar and drums, Richville creates danceable boogie-blues.
