American singer-songwriter Madison Cunningham creates an adventurous mix of folk, Americana, and indie rock. With her warm voice, inventive vocal melodies, and jazzy compositions, she often brings to mind Joni Mitchell, but Radiohead and Jeff Buckley are also among Cunningham's sources of inspiration. After her beautiful second album Revealer (2022), she released the – possibly even better – album Ace in 2025. Metropole Orchestra arranger/conductor Sam Gale manages to preserve the intimate character of Cunningham's work while adding new colors and dynamics!
