IOS (IsOokSchitterend) appeared out of nowhere in the late 90s. Their debut single 'Voltooid Verleden Tijd' spent no less than 30 weeks in the Top 40. The band spent 15 years in the highest echelons of Dutch pop with hits like 'Uit de Schaduw', 'Hoe het Voelt', and 'Altijd wel Iemand', and built a solid live reputation. With ten nights at Ahoy, IOS bid farewell to the audience and the spotlights during Vrienden van Amstel Live in 2010. Now they are back and will be performing at Patronaat on Thursday, October 8!
So, a performance in Haarlem is coming up, but before that, the band played a reunion concert at a sold-out Tivoli, six new singles, a club and a theatre tour, and a best-of LP later (new light/old favorites). The band is now working on its 8th studio album. So expect a lot of new material, alongside the big hits and well-known singalongs, of course. An evening of Dutch pop with a rough edge, fresh yet familiar. IOS is back.
